I’m so glad you’ve stopped by my little corner of the internet!
I started my online making journey waaaay back in 2002 when I opened my first business Uplifting Arts. I started off selling greeting cards, handbags and accessories for boutiques all over the country.

It was a very different internet back then!
In those early days of wandering on the web I was inspired by communities I met on forums and message boards. During those days on message boards and in chat rooms a couple of us got together and co founded a forum to help connect ladies who owned their own crafty businesses and The Switchboards was born!
Fast forward some 10 years later running UA, I was feeling burnt out and uninspired. So I started Art journaling on a regular basis. I reconnected with my love of painting and exploring mixed media. The joy of smooshing paint around, and the colors I could make moved me and ignited a much needed creative spark! I had missed that form of creativity in such a deep way.

All these many years later I’m still making a happy mess. Most days I’m in my studio creating, learning, and exploring different techniques.
